FMCG client Recruiting!. They are searching for a Tax/Treasury Manager.

TAX AND TREASURY MANAGER


Job Scope:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Tax & Treasury Manager is a junior management position responsible for ensuring alignment of supply and financial objectives as well as promoting financial awareness across functions


Responsibilities

Job holder will among others, have the following responsibilities:

* Company Income Tax, VAT, WHT, PAYE
* Liaising with tax consultants and attending to tax queries
* Monitoring of cash flow situation and associated Treasury matters
* Liaising with company bankers and renewal / upgrade of facilities
* Legal and Secretarial matters including holding the Board Meetings and AGM


Requirements:

To be qualified for this position, an applicant must possess:

* Relevant University Degree
* 5+ years of experience preferably in a renowned MNC / big corporate / Big 4 Audit firm
* Recognized Professional accounting qualification (CA/ACCA/ACIT or equivalent)
* Excellent command of English
* Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and Tax Laws / Company Laws
* Familiarity with banking transactions and CBN Regulations
* Very strong excel and IT skills
* Good communication & presentation skills

* Strong conceptual understanding of business and good analytical skills
