Reporting to the director, corporate communication, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and implementation of the corporate communications objectives and strategic communication plans IGI
Qualification, Experience & Attributes
• A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable university in liberal Arts, social sciences or business related disciplines
• Higher degree(s) M.Sc or MBA will be added advantage
• Membership of relevant professional association is very desirable
• Minimum of 13 years post qualification experience with at least seven years in corporate communication and allied industry including 4 years in top/ senior management position
• Rounded marketing communication background and exposure in public relations, advertising, events management, protocol and advisory services
• Demonstrable innovative spirit is a necessity
• Sound and deep knowledge of current industry trends
• Ability to work for long hours with minimum supervision
• Willingness to travel at short notices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
