Electrical Instrumentation Planner Needed at Lafarge Nigeria
Lafarge Cement is a multinational and leading player in the building industry.
We are looking for experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following position:
ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION PLANNER [REF: (EIP 002)]
Objectives
• To define Maintenance programmes, optimising the resources and equipment available and minimizing stoppages.
• To manage and improve management tools, procedures and methodologies for maintenance.
• To carry out studies to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance
Candidate’s Profile
- B.Sc/HND in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering At least 3-5 years’ Cement industry experience.
- Aged 27-32 years.
- Respect the safety policies, rules, regulations and standard Work Instructions of the Company.
- Commitment to the highest standards of safe work habits.
- To ensure the quality of equipment monitoring the quality of the maintenance and inspection programme.
- With the assistance of the Production- Department, to schedule and prepare all maintenance operations (weekly mechanical and electrical maintenance programmes, annual shutdowns).
- To prepare the work order and coordinate with sub-contractors To maintain and update CMMS.
- To maintain and update the preventive maintenance programme and its master schedule.
- To look for the best optimisation of programmes, according to availability of the workforce, so as to control costs.
- To plan major equipment annual overhauls.
- To collect and handle all the work requests and check for information accuracy.
- To manage maintenance backlog.
- To draw up the specifications for the purchase of the spare parts and ensure the availability of the spares parts.
- To analyse the performance indicators and the incidents, and look for solutions.
- To manage general and specific technical documentation.
- To manage the equipment codification.
- To study recurring problems of equipment reliability or problems concerning safety and work conditions.
- To ensure that the Maintenance practices comply with Quality Assurance Standards.
- To assist the Maintenance Manager with the preparation of maintenance budgets and follow up
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Note) Demonstrate leadership skills via work ethics, ability to delegate and motivate fairness, etc .
