General Manager Engineering At A Fast Growing Oil Servicing Company

Our client is a fast growing oil servicing company with offices in Port Harcourt and Lagos. As a result of the rapid growth being experienced, the company therefore needs the services of highly competent, experienced, focused and qualified personnel to fill in the position below:

General Manager Engineering (NXT/SES-M III)

•The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s engineering and construction services product line to deliver company’s on-going engineering and construction support services contracts to the satisfaction of the company’s numerous clients and deliver to the terms and conditions of existing contracts with IOC and marginal field operators.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the company’s construction services business by interacting with client at management and operations levels
•Develop strategies to harmonise the company’s construction support and engineering services to transform the company into a major procurement and construction company.
•Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts and also integrating contract requirement with business operations.
•Advice the Board on technological trends and development to ensure the company offers competitive service to meet up with clients’ drilling plans and ensure the company’s continuous relevance.
Requirements

•Candidate must possess a relevant first degree in engineering or science,
•Minimum of 12 years work experience in a reputable engineering or construction company,
•Must be registered with CORBN and an active member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
•An MBA or MSC and/or any other professional business qualification will be an added advantage.
